AOWD CHAPTER 3.11. SUMMARY

SNSI believes that night diving and limited visibility diving are two distinct forms of diving. While they share certain similar skills, characteristics and equipment needs, they are not one and the same. However, limited visibility diving and night diving do share a common draw; they both provide the opportunity to observe sea life that cannot be seen any other way. Life found at night, in the rocks, on the sea floor, near and in wrecks is extraordinary, full of vibrant color or brilliant camouflage patterns. Learning to see it and appreciate it means to discover something new and different every dive, whether at night, during the day or in low visibility. The key is to increase your skills through practice, knowledge and experience required for such dives.
